Some more change you can believe in!
It's official! Northwest Airlines is now a part of Delta.
"What's changing for Delta and Northwest passengers right now?
It's business as usual for both airlines as we combine to create a premier global airline with a leading presence in the world's major markets and a best-in-class loyalty program. We're working hard to ensure that the merger is smooth, seamless and delivers even more benefits to you.
You will not see immediate changes in operations from Delta or Northwest as full integration of the companies will take time and will be completed through a thoughtful integration process over the next 12-24 months."

The Deal is about to close
"Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines are close to announcing a merger that would create the world's largest airline, several national media sources reported late Sunday.
The reports all cited anonymous sources close to the situation. The sources also noted issues remain with pilot negotiations. But an official announcement apparently awaits the approval of the boards of both airlines and could come as soon as Tuesday.
The Wall Street Journal reported in its Monday online edition that Delta (NYSE: DAL) was still trying to reach an agreement with its pilots on a new contract that would allow the airline more flexibility in a merger." - Triangle Business Journal
